THE MERION WEDDING : LAURA & ISONG

After all of the excitement & anticipation over the past year or so, the day had finally arrived.  You could tell just by looking at Laura or Isong (E-song) that they were two of the happiest people on earth that day.  For what started as two people who initially thought they had very little in common, it turned out to be the beginning of a bright future together.   You may remember this beautiful couple from their epic engagement session down in Miami, Florida earlier this year.  From then on, time seemed to fly and their big day was suddenly upon us and we couldn’t ask for a better day.  It was bright and sunny (a little on the warm side), but full of love, smiles and happiness.  The day begins with us visiting Laura,  who gave us the biggest smile when we arrived as she was getting her make-up done.  Enjoy the story of their day!

Love the shoes!! (Tiffany)

Absolutely Stunning Laura!!

We couldn’t help but take this photo…as we sat for a few minutes waiting for the ceremony to begin, this little one couldn’t help but think about a little nap.  Too cute!

The new couple & Isong’s mom.

Sometimes it can be all about the details for the guys as well…nice job Isong!

This is what happens when the bridal party is allowed to ‘do their own thing‘ for a picture.

Much better guys :)

After taking a few bridal party pictures after the ceremony, it was time to head over to the always impressive Merion of New Jersey.  The decor & table settings were once again done by Clorise Watson, who always does an unbelievable job.

While the happy couple were saying their thank you’s, Isong took the opportunity to present Laura with some lovely diamond earrings. NICE!

It wasn’t until we were going through the images once we got home that we realized that there were at least 5 previous clients friends of ours at this wedding. We are humbled.

DJ SOUL on the one’s & two’s keeping the party rocking well into the night.

Now you know it’s a party when wedding guests friends, are allowed to grab the mic & help keep the party going.

And as we often times like to end the night, with a few bride & groom shots before departing.  Congratulations once again Isong & Laura!

PLEASE TOUCH MUSEUM WEDDING : MELANIE & PAUL

Melanie & Paul…… so many words to describe them, fun-loving, energetic, sweet, funny, stylish and the list goes on.  These two met in gymnastics club at Virginia Tech and knew it was something they liked about each other.  However, both were dating other people at the time, so they became friends and kept in contact after graduation.  He began a profession in the medical field, but soon left that field and moved to California to pursue his “Stunt Man” career.  Melanie worked in DC for the government, and has to travel to various parts of the world (London, Rome, Africa, etc) for auditing purposes.   When they both became single, they eventually began dating, and it did not take long for the two to become totally smitten with each other.  Melanie decided to move to California to be with Paul, after being born & raised here on the east coast.  Their lives were pushed into overdrive last summer when Paul decided that it was time to make her his permanent leading lady, by proposing.

When we met Melanie for the first time last year, she had just returned from London that very same day, while her beau Paul was on a shoot in Vancouver for the upcoming Superman movie (shhh…don’t tell anyone)….and we thought we were busy.  We could not have asked for a better way to kick off our wedding season this year with such a great couple and bridal party.  The only request we had at the end of the night was if they could take us with them on their 2 week honeymoon to Thailand…yes Thailand!

Special Thanks to: the Please Touch Museum Staff, Entertainment Beyond Expectation (EBE) & Elaine Igo (Coordinator), and the Florists/Decorations specialist Clorise Watson, and the many others that helped make this day a success.

We must forewarn you, this is a rather long post.  Enjoy!

Paul’s gift to Melanie the day of the wedding was a VERY nice Jimmy Choo clutch that she was able to use the day of the wedding.  Pretty sure he scored some major cool points for that.

Melanie’s mom was sure to let us know that Melanie had the inside of her dress embroidered as her something blue.  How cute!

This is Melanie’s attempt at her sexy face before she broke out in complete laughter.

The guys got dress just a few floors away, while checking out the Twins vs Marlins game.

We just love when the timeline allows for a few pictures before the actual ceremony.  Everything tends to feel much more relaxed.

Gotta love the pink sneakers!

Melanie even went so far as to have their wedding date painted on her nail and we loved the idea.

We knew that it would not take long for the stuntman to come out.  The things that they can do is nothing short of amazing!

We were almost taken by surprise by the mid air high-five that all of the groomsmen did when they entered for the ceremony.

After the ceremony, it was back outside for more pics…our favorite part!

This has to be a first….and it was totally their idea.  We love it when the bridal party is INTO IT!!!

Melanie was extremely daring to imitate Paul’s mid-air Superman pose, but she definitely pulled it off.

We will just put it out there since we’re sure you are wondering, these lovely centerpieces were designed by the very talented Clorise Watson.

Before the party really got started, we were able to pull the bridal party aside for one last group picture.  We’re glad we did.

Then we had M & P all to ourselves for a few moments.

Truly a fairy-tale couple.

This is literally the final picture of the night before we backed up our bags.  Congratulations again and again Melanie & Paul.  We could not have been happier to be able to be a part of your epic day.
