FEATURED : THE KNOT MAGAZINE : BRIAN & DIONA

When we got into this business roughly 6 years ago, we had no idea where it would take us.  To be honest, at the time it wasn’t a business at all, but rather a hobby that we knew we wanted to get better at.  We didn’t know if it was something that would sink or swim or if anyone would ever hire us as their photographers.  When we take a second to look up now, we are really happy we decided to stick with it, through all of the early days of frustration and trepidation.  We are deeply humbled by the trust that our clients have placed in us over the years and all of the support we have received.

Back in February we were contacted by The Knot, to feature one of the weddings we shot last year.  We cannot express how excited we were!!!  We know to some photographers it is all in a days work, but for us we were especially grateful.  Not that we needed the validation from an outside source, because our clients are all of the validation we need, but we know just how big and widespread The Knot Magazine is as well as The Knot.com, (considering we used them for our very own wedding).  We are sure they can hand pick from dozens, if not hundreds, of weddings to feature in their semi-annual publication, but page 96 of their Pennsylvania & Delaware fall/winter 2012 issue belongs all to Diona & Brian, & how thankful we are to have been there to document their new beginning.

Brian & Diona are two of the nicest people you could ever meet.  Their wedding was full of love, affection, color & creativity, and now even more people are able to share in their love.  If you missed their full post, feel free to click here.  Enjoy!

Happy Wednesday!

FAMILY PORTRAITS : MEET THE BARNER FAMILY

A couple of weeks back we made the trek down to Atlantic City to meet up with our close friends, the Barner family for some great family portraits out on the beach.  Little did we know that despite some of the gorgeous weather we have had this Spring, this would prove to be what felt like one of the coldest days of the month, especially hanging out near the ocean.  No worries tho, we were able to endure the chill in the air and walk away with some great images.

We hope you enjoy!

In case that little guy to the right looks a bit familiar, it is because we have been taking pictures of him since he was born almost.  Feel free to check out his own posts by clicking here and here.  Boy does time fly!

Elijah was a little enamored with the camera at this point…gotta love it!
