THE WATERFALL WEDDING : MARCIE & ROB

If there was one word to describe this couple it would be “Classy”.  But we would also add fun, passionate, loving, determined….we guess one word won’t do.  Marcie is very sweet and a true diva in her own way. She enjoys life and has an absolutely contagious smile.  Rob is a true gentleman, the kind who opens doors and pulls out chairs. He too seems to always be smiling, especially when around his boo.  He is also very laid back and relaxed, that is until we start talking sports, especially tennis.  That is another reason why Rob has a special place in our hearts, we can talk about tennis for hours, he has even been to the French Open.

The two of them together seem perfectly balanced, with many plans together as a married couple.  “The Second Time Around” (compliments of Shalamar), is the song that comes to mind when we think of Marcie & Rob.  True love is hard to find and sometimes life surprises us with a second chance when we least expect it.  It is easy to see and feel the love when we are around these two, so when Rob proposed earlier this year, “Yes” was all that was left to be said.

We enjoyed shooting their wedding this past October and hope you enjoy some of our favorites of the day.

Since Marcie’s parents were not able to be there for the wedding, they were able to watch and listen in via Skype, through our laptop. :)

The Waterfall in Delaware serves as a beautiful location for a wedding and reception.

Now its a party!

Marcie and her sister.

Congrat’s again M & R!

THE MANOR AT COMMONWEALTH WEDDING : DOUG & SIMONE

You may remember Doug & Simone from their epic surprise proposal at the beginning of their portrait session back near the beginning of the year, feel free to click here if you missed it.  Although a lot of their planning had already been done by then, things really went into overdrive once the bling bling was in the picture.  Doug & Simone were married last month and we had a great time spending the day with them again, being their own personal paparazzi.  Love and tears filled the air as we began the morning with D & S preparing for their 1920′s theme wedding surrounded by family and friends.

Enjoy a few of our favorites from that day.

He didn’t R.S.V.P. so unfortunately we had to leave him behind.

Simone was “Top Model” ready and looked beautiful.

Doug and his brothers were very sharp.

After the ceremony in Norristown, PA, we headed over to The Manor at Commonwealth for the beautiful reception.

The tap dance routine performed for D & S during the reception.

Doug surprised Simone with a diamond necklace just after the cake cutting, NICE MOVE!

And in case you did not pick up on the outfit change from the picture above, D & S changed clothes midway through the reception and then we went outside for a few more pictures.  The pic to the right is at Simone’s request.

Love the attention to detail Doug.

Congrat’s Doug & Simone, thanks for a great day.

Don’t forget about the CONTEST we are running.

APPROACHING 500 COMMENTS : CONTEST INCLUDED

In a post here on our blog about a year ago we celebrated having over 10,000 page views after less than a year of blogging .  What a difference a year makes, because we will soon be celebrating over 50,ooo page views in just a year and a half of blogging.  We are also potentially crossing another milestone in our blogging journey and that is the fact that we are quickly approaching over 500 comments.  A HUGE THANK YOU goes out to all of our clients, friends, family and other guest, who have shown their love and support over these past couple of years with our business.  So to celebrate we decided it is time to pay it forward and do a little giving back of our own.

Without being too specific, lets just say that we are roughly 50 comments away from 500 so we decided that the person that happens to be our 500th commenter (is that a word?), will be the proud recipient of a $50 GIFT CARD OF THEIR CHOICE.  Who can resist some cold hard cash….or plastic in this case.  We have a lot of blogging to do before the year is out and we will announce the WINNER as soon as it happens. Be sure to subscribe to the blog by clicking on the link above, to be notified of each new post.

Happy Monday!
