TENDENZA BALLROOM WEDDING : CHANTELLE & SHAROD

We can vividly remember almost a year ago when Chantelle & Sharod came by to discuss having us as their photographers for their wedding.  Time sure fly’s by because before we knew it, we were taking engagement pictures.  It had only been just about 4 months since we drove down to Atlantic City in order to take their awesome e-session pictures.  The time had come for their big day and we were definitely looking forward to it.  Although the rest of the world was thinking about the past on this historic date of 9/11, Chantelle & Sharod were thinking about the future, their future together as husband & wife.

Enjoy a few of our favorites!

There’s those red bottoms again, we are starting to notice a trend here.

Even this little one, Ms Nevaeh had to make sure her ‘make-up’ was tight…. And for those that might have trouble with the pronunciation of her name she will gladly let you know that her name is ‘heaven spelled backwards.’  Too cute!

Once the ladies were dress, they decided to take a few pics of their own with one of their iPads.

I think this classifies as a proud mommy moment.

Speaking of a proud mom…Sharod & his mother just before the ceremony began.

After the ceremony we headed over to the Penns Landing area for a few bridal party pics.

Can we be the first to say that you two are adorable!  Remember this moment for years to come…

Then it was time to head over to the very impressive Tendenza Ballroom for the beautiful reception site in Northern Liberties.

This makes me smile (Bernard).

The intro dance that the girls absolutely rocked!

The grand entrance!

Growing up in Philly, I have probably heard hundreds of times on the radio, “He can’t see you but he can feel you, the world’s #1 blind DJ….DJ Touch Tone…”  Well leave it up to Chan & Sharod to actually be able to have him DJ their reception.

NOW you know its a party…..

Thanks for an awesome day C & S!

CRYSTAL TEA ROOM WEDDING : RYAN & JOEY

Not even Hurricane Irene could prevent this day from happening.  After just about 12 years of dating, Ryan and Joey had decided it was time.  It was time for them to take the next steps in joining their lives together as one.  We met up with Ryan & Joey about a year ago, here in downtown Philly to discuss some of the details surroundding the wedding.  From then on we knew that their wedding would be tons of fun & the bridal party would be a riot to work with.

The morning of, Ryan jokingly said that it was only right that they get married on a day of a hurricane.  She could remember it was raining when Joey proposed, and on the day that they did their final walk through of the venue, we mysteriously had an earthquake here along the eastern seaboard.  So it would only be right that we top it all all with a hurricane on their big day.  Seriously though, you could not tell one bit what was going on outside because of all the happiness that was in the air.  Tiffany and I remember saying to one another during the ceremony & reception, wow they had an awesome turn out considering the circumstances.  After 12 yrs of dating how could anyone miss this most special occasion?

Enjoy a few of our favorites.

How adorable is that little face to the right??

Ryan & Joey decided to get together just before the ceremony in order to take a few pictures.  The Loews Philadelphia Hotel provided a beautiful starting point.

Since Hurricane Irene was beginning to make her presence felt we headed over to 30th Street Station to take a few bridal party pics.

The wedding and reception was over at the Crystal Tea Room, which we can say is absolutely beautiful!  We can shoot there all day.

Now it’s a party!

Ryan & Joey thanks for being troopers, we had a really great time.

FYI everyone, we really enjoy comments so feel free to let us know what you think.
