THE MERION BALLROOM, NEW JERSEY : GIA & RICARDO

Theirs was some of the most emotional vows that we had ever heard.  As we were documenting the vows of Gia & Ricardo we couldn’t help but listen in to the raw emotional and love that was shared between the two of them.  That’s when we knew they had something really deep and special, and we were proud to be there to capture it. Anyone that knows Ricardo, knows that he can be a man of very few words at times….and anyone that knows Gia knows that she has a personality that can be seen the moment she steps in a room.  Today though, it was all about showcasing the love the two of them have built up for each other over the years, resulting in an “I Do” and now officially becoming one.   If by chance, you missed their unique ”Save the Date” session, feel free to check it out here.  Special “Thanks” to our partner & 2nd shooter Ron Pridgen, for helping us get some of the wonderful images you see below.

First Gia & her son got the traditional stuff out of the way, then it was time to “turn up”!

DJ Soul was on the one’s & tw0′s and made sure that everyone had a good night of dancing & having a great time.

FAMILY PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY : WILLIAMS FAMILY

Last month we had the opportunity to get together with the beautiful Williams family in order to take some family portraits.  If you recall, we had a couple of the Williams family members in front of our camera 2 years ago when we shot the wedding and proposal engagement session of Doug & Simone.  If you missed their pictures feel free to click here and here.  We always love it when we get past clients in front of the camera again, and it just sweetens the deal even more that we were now shooting the entire family.  The “children” of Mama & Papa Williams decided a few months back that it would be a great idea to have family portraits done as part of an anniversary present.  They sent us an email and the rest is history.  Once the date was set, they were all excited since it has been a while LONG time since the family was able to get some good pictures together.

We promise it was Simone’s idea to climb up on the log:)

Hey Denae…maybe we will run into each other 1 more time at the supermarket before the month is out:)

US OPEN TENNIS 2011 & 2012

For some of you who know us personally, you know how much we enjoy tennis, both playing & watching.  In our minds there is no better place to watch a game of tennis than in Flushing Meadows, Queens each year at the US Open.  It has quickly become a yearly tradition since our first visit four years ago and last year we had the opportunity to share that with family.  We are finally getting around to sharing some of our US Open pictures from over the past 2 years with you.  We are hoping to get back this year if it all works out, so we are already looking forward to it. Enjoy some of our favorites!

It was great to see one of our favorite players, Andy Murray, play and win his match.  Made for some great pics.

That guy could rest a meal on his belly….and the lady on the right apparently is not that interested in the match.

We are just waiting for Caroline Wozniacki to have another breakout performance at the Open…

Mr Federer…the man who has dominated this sport for the past almost 10 years, winning a record 17 Grand Slam Titles while setting countless other records along the way…. (secretly though we are Nadal fans).

We got a chance to witness Kim Clijsters play in her last tennis match before officially retiring and calling it quits.  ***Check out the video below***

And it was all over until later this year…(hopefully)…but not before Tiffany got her big pink tennis ball. “I love it – signatures coming soon”.
